Beware of soft drinks and empty calories

Many are used to open a can of soda or more a day, either a drink, juice, etc.. however, there is something you want to do every day. Why? … Soft drinks typically contain sugar, preservatives, and worse, lack of nutrients. In fact, a large percentage of our obesity problem (and the struggle to lose weight) is due to the calories that come in liquid form, such as soft drinks.

And that is a problem?

While drinks consumed more calories and fewer nutrients, you eat what are called “empty calories”.

The important thing is to limit the amount of this type of calories you consume daily, even so-called diet drinks limit, or no sugar. Read the rest of this entry »
