Foods Containing Carbohydrates

Carbohydrates are the nutrients that provide energy to the body, help regulate the breakdown of protein and protect it from toxins. Foods containing carbohydrates are:

- Bread and Grains
Foods in this group much less fat than is commonly realized (so if you are fat and sugars and fats that are usually added). All foods in this group contain B vitamins and iron, and moreover, they are of the type “integral”, provide the body with fiber, magnesium, zinc and folic acid.

- Vegetables and Beans
The term “vegetable” means not only green vegetables but many others, such as tomatoes, beets, cabbage, radishes, turnips, onions, potatoes, carrots, etc.. For its part, the term “vegetables” includes beans, beans, beans, lentils, peas and nuts or seeds that grow in pods.
